Internal nic c-600 not responding, new system board.

I have approx 76 laptops in the field for the company I work for.  20 of them are c 600's.  lately the on board nic's are failing.  I replaced the board on two and the nic's are still not being recognized.  Any ideas???

    Thank you for using Dell's Community Forum.

    When you say you have replaced the boards, are you referring to replacing the entire mother board?

    Try updating the BIOS also.

    A C600 does NOT have the NIC on the Motherboard. It is on a miniPCI card. To access the card you take the metal cover on the bottom of the system off. The memory is also under this cover. Most have both a modem and a NIC on the same card.
