Missing part no help from tech support or customer care

I purchased a netbook from The Dell Outlet store. The refurbished system I chose listed in the specifications the unit included a Dell 5530 ATT card. My receipt shows the card listed in the computers specs, however it was not included in the shipment. Tech Support will not send one because I didn't purchase it separately. I have explained it was listed inthe computer specs and is on my receipt, yet they will not help. A customer care replied to my email stating yes it is included in the system and you will have to contact tech support for the missing part. I copied that statement and the care person's name to tech support and they stIll refuse to acknowledge they owe me the part. What should I do next?

Are you sure it is not installed inside the computer? These are usually installed in a compartment on the bottom of the laptops.

Trying to deal with support when an item is missing is a real pain. You need to call again and be persistant. I have had a number of times found missing items and a few times was even accused of stealing from them. The reps that they use are sometimes jerks. I spent almost 2hours on the phone fighting with one the other day over a missing CD for my daughters laptop and a few years ago over a missing keyboard and power cord, that one took 4 or 5 calls and about 6 hours of my time before they sent the items.
