optiplex 3090 blinking power led
My Optiplex 3090 has a 1 white, pause, 3 amber flash repeating sequence. It has spontaneously powered off twice in the past month. I did a hard reset (hold in power button with power cord removed for 20 secs), and ran quick diagnostics and all is well per the results page, but the blinking persists.
3, 1 three blinks followed by a short pause, one blink, long pause, then repeats. RTC Power Failure CMOS Battery Failure - If you can troubleshoot, narrow down the issue by swapping a known good CMOS battery, if available.
if this is the LED code, chino is correct

Replace your system CMOS battery with a new one. Refer to instructions on service manual and taking precaution while working on motherboard and components.
