Only 6 are recognized and in the event log I have this.

2019-02-19 17:59:25 MRC Event: Memory sensor, MRC Warning(0B): DIMM was disabled due to MemTest errors. Node 1, Channel E, DIMM 1.
2019-02-19 17:59:25 MRC Event: Memory sensor, MRC Warning(0B): DIMM was disabled due to MemTest errors. Node 1, Channel E, DIMM 0.
2019-02-19 17:59:25 MRC Event: Memory sensor, MRC Warning(07.04): Incompatible DDR3 DIMM module. Node 1, Channel E, DIMM 1.

test them 1 at  at time? (per CPU count)  the book tells you how to run any type and count of stick

testing them 1 by 1 is always a good idea.  (if 2 CPU, you can even drop to 1 CPU, (the book shows which one to pull)

then only one DDR stick can be run. then test them all. 1by1.

there are also covered restrictions in the book too, on mixing classes of DDR. (the book is very amazing on this)

Many machines made and sold have MMC ,facts missing, or worse non or the classic, runs as slow as the slowest stick sure.

but mixing, ecc , buffered or not,  is complex. RTM. (one of the most complex topics is DDR)
