PE 2850 Rack Mounting

Hello Everyone,

I have been racking my brains for over a week on this ..

I have two Dell PowerEdge 2850's that need to be mounted into a APC Rack ..

I have connected APC and they were not help ..

My trouble is the Dell Rails are desgined to fit into a sqaure hole, and the APC rack has round thread holes ..

So I need any advice I can get in order to figure out a way to mouth these things ..

Thanks !!!!!

I believe the rails for square holes are called Rapid Rails, for easy snap-in racking in Dell server racks.  I believe you need the Versa Rails, which are Dell's "versatile" rails for third-party racks.

Thanks thefalsh1932    hhmm you sure about that , because i have been looking at pics of rails for a week now and it looks like the Versa Rails dont have round screws holes on them and looks like the slip into a sqaure hole like the normal ones do ..
