Can anyone advise if 4G UDIMM is suitable to use in the T610 with dual cpu. Currently have 12X1GB and would like to replace 6 with 4GB UDIMM. all documents I have read only indicate 1GB and 2GB UDIMM support.
There are some "information updates" on the support site for the T610, but none of them mention additional memory support beyond its original specs. It might be old, but that doesn't make it any less accurate :)
If support for larger UDIMM's was added via BIOS update, then it wasn't documented in their release notes (which it usually is):

Support was added for 16GB RDIMM's, but RDIMM's is the industry-accepted way to go when working with large amounts of RAM anyway.
