New battery for Precision M4600
Hi
I need a replacement battery for a Precision M4600 laptop, which I realise is an old laptop by now, however except for the battery it's quick and responsive.
The battery I have right now is a 87 Wh R7PND. I have searched up and down for dell parts on dell.com but having problems finding it.
Anyone able to help?
Dell won't have batteries for a system this old. The system dates from 2011, and OEM batteries are produced for 4-5 years - - the newest ones will be from 2015-2016.
Look for a reputable seller of third party batteries -- that's the best option.

Even 1.5yrs later, and an entirely different person, the Dell Precision m4600 is a great computer.

Check what's available locally -- I have no idea where you're looking. If in the US, look for an Amazon seller with a long, good track record.
