Hi,

was wondering if anybody can give me some advise.

 

I am trying to set the above printer up on my network, however as soon as i plug it into my switch it will not obtain a ip address. If i connect it directly to my router, it will get one from the router no problem.

As soon as the network cable goes into the switch no lights come on the printer port or the switch as if it is not detecting at all.

I know that port on the switch works as i have had other pc's connected to it.

Any advise on how to get this printer live on my switch?
