Non Dell printer cartridge
Can someone help me? I purchased an ink cartridge from Office Max. It replaces the dell series 9 inkjet cartridge that I needed. The printer is printing fine - but does not acknowledge that a new cartridge has been put in, and keeps showing the printer is out of ink?
How do I correct this?

Dell Series 9 ink cartridges have a sensor in them.
Some generic cartridges will work and some will not. If the printer cannot read the sensor correctly, the printer will not function. Your low ink message will let you print but the annoying low ink message will be there. In the article, Article on refilling Dell ink cartridges it expalins on how to turn off the low ink message, but I don't think it works.
