Powerpoint - mp3
I can add an mp3 file from an external disk drive (which I use for backup) to my presentation and it plays fine. But when I try to add a song from my C: drive the song is there but it won't play in the presentation. What could possible be the difference between these two files?

I suspect you have the MP3 too "deep" in the folders path. PowerPoint has a known issue if the path/filename is to long. Try placing it in a folder with a short path. I.E.
C:\test and see if the problem is resolved.
