MIB OID showing NULL R640

I have downloaded R640 OpenManage and relevant MIB (Dell-OM-MIBS-10100_A00) from DELL Support site, but when I try to fetch data for some traps, it is showing NULL value. Please help in resolving this.

No, I am not querying iDRAC IP, I am simply using SNMP on the R640 to query some details. Below are the OIDs which are returning NULL.

Are you querying iDRAC IP for these details? Can you share the OID of attributes tried. Can you update iDRAC FW to latest and check the behavior.

Did you have Open Manage Server Administrator(OMSA) installed on the server?

Can you check if there are some differences if you query the iDRAC?

And which version of OMSA did you installed?

    Thanks

Hi, I'm not sure what went wrong with it. I can suggest installing ISM. Starting iSM 2.3, you can receive SNMP alerts from the host OS which is similar to the alerts that are generated by iDRAC. https://dell.to/3j6rSle

Please review the following topic Configuring The SNMP Agent. https://dell.to/3DGfXDT

Maybe you can check the following from within the registry editor. Old versions had a known issue like SNMP MIB walk does not display any information in an upgrade from 32-bit to 64-bit version

if it has same problem, to resolve the issue, add this registry entry to the windows registry and restart OS SNMP service

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SNMP\Parameters\ExtensionAgents] "SysMgmtDataEngine"="SOFTWARE<\\Dell Computer Corporation\\OpenManage\\DataEngine\\SNMP Agent\\CurrentVersion>"
