'USB Device is not found' error trying to upgrade firmware from Linux command line
I'm trying to update the the iDRAC firmware using the Linux update file from the command line. It runs but it doesn't update the firmware. it does spit out the usb device errors, which I don't see how those are related to the fw update process.
Environment
Server: Dell Powerdge R740XD
iDRAC9
OS:CentOS 7.9
Update file is located locally on server in the /tmp folder.

The update completed successfully.Any ideas on how to resolve the issue? I'd also like to run the script non-interactive so I can plug it into our Ansible infrastructure, but that is a secondary concern.

I'm using CentOS 7, which is Redhat Enterprise 7, so it should be supported.

The post here discusses the same issue, where the cause they identified was based on locale.
Glance at their solution and verify if it resolves your issue with the update.
