Rename Consistency Group

Is it possible to change the name of an existing Consistency Group?

I've tried via the webui and cli and in both cases I receive the below error message.

Trying to change the settings of a GLOBAL-AUTO group.

Is it managed by SRM?

but it isn't. It's a simple consistency group. I have no defined Group Sets.

Hi Jim,

This will be because the CG is part of a Group Set. Take it out of the Group Set, rename the CG and then put it back in the Group Set.

Ahhh, I had assumed it was sufficient to just change the Managed By option from External Application (SRM) to RecoverPoint.

I also changed the External Application option from SRM to None, clicked Apply and was able to change the CG name.
