RPVM bandwidth control

Does RPVM support the bandwidth limit option that is found in the RP CLI?  {config_link_policy -bandwidth_limit= }

Is there similar functionality elsewhere in RPVM to limit bandwidth?

Thanks!

    Hi,

RP4VM does support bandwidth limitation which can be configured via the config_link_policy CLI command.

Yes it does from the CLI as you mentioned. Same rules apply.

Not currently, you have the option to prioritize CGs and limit bandwidth on a per CG basis as well.

Idan, is this limited by default? I have an installation that is only pushing 20mbps on a gig link.

    Hi,

Thanks for your question.  It should not have a limit by default. https://dell.to/3kbX463

    Hi,

I am trying to replicate the VM from DC to DR from last 1 month, but it's taking too much time to sync.

so here I just want to know, is there any possibility to strict the bandwidth for CGs, like I have total 8 CGs & 7 CGs in Active mode & 1 CGs in initialization & I want 75% of the bandwidth dedicated to 1 CGs, which is in initialization mode.

For Example: - I have 100 Mbps dedicated bandwidth for VM Replication.

Looking Forward to here with positive response.

    Thanks in advance.

    Best Regards,

    Abdul Quddus

    Hi,

    Thanks for your question.

Yes, you can limit the bandwidth per CG. https://dell.to/42XkQ8w
