Perc 5/i Management

Hi,
 
I have a new PE 2900 w/ a Perc 5/i controller. How can I manage / modify the Perc from within Windows 2003? I installed Open Management which seems to have a web based interface. Is this the only option? Is there a MMC snap in or other non web option?

    Thats good that you have OMSA installed. You need to install storage management that is a component of OMSA. Just go into add/remove programs and do a modify on server admin. Make sure storage management is checked for installation on the components list.

    Yes, I installed OMSA / Storage Management. This seems to have only a web based utility. Is there a way to manage Perc other than the web utility?

    The only other way to manage the perc is in the perc bios. During POST hit Ctrl/R when you see the option on the screen. You can follow some of the videos in the link below on the perc bios.
