Well, the keyboard appears when you tap the text box for texting. To hide the keyboard touch the back button.

The back button with a gentle press should make the keyboard go away. But please give us more data. I cannot make bricks without clay ,to quote Sherlock Holmes.

What application does this occur in? Does pressing "Enter" help? Are you pressing the back key or gently touching it?

I tried to recreate the issue. I noticed that in the search bar for google the keyboard would stay until my results came up then lightly pressing enter made it go away.
