Add new vCenter 4.1 Server

I am unable to get a new vCenter 4.1 server to show up in the inventory on my vFoglight 5.5.2 (Build: 552-20091101-1805) server. I was able to install the Virtual Vmware Agent on my new vCenter server. The new vCenter server now has the VMware vFoglight Collector and Connector services running.

How do I figure out why the new vCenter server does not show up in the vFoglight console?

as Jason pointed out the best thing to do is open a support case. You could also take a look at the collector & connector.log files within the agent folder. They should give you a clue as to what may be causing the issue.

    Gerry,
ESX 4.1 is not yet supported. Vizioncore will support ESX updates within 90 days of their release.

I resolved the issue. When i installed the collector/connector agent on my new vCenter server I incorrectly specified the FQDN of my vFoglight server. I went into Add/Remove Programs on my new vCenter server and modified the FQDN of the vFoglight server. Then I restaretd the collector/conenctor services on the new vCenter server and on the vFoglight server and the new vCenter server showed up in the vFoglight console just fine. Thanks for the help.

As of now no issues were found with VC 4.1 and ESX 4.1, please open a support case so they can have a look.
