I located the source of Flashlightsearch.com & sent them an e-mail.  Their reply may be of interest to the folks reading this forum.

exe and execute it. If you are still having trouble removing the files, follow the instructions
below.

1 - Locate the Task Manager. To find the Task Manager press the CTRL, ALT and Delete buttons
simultaneously and select Task Manager from the box that appears. Or simply right click on the Task
Bar and select the Task Manager from the menu that appears.

2 - In the Task Manager find MSMGT.EXE (or TVMD.exe or TVTMD.exe). Right click on it and choose
"End Process".

3 - Go to the Windows folder on your Local Disk C: (C:\WINDOWS) and delete file MSMGT.EXE (or
TVMD.exe or TVTMD.exe)

 
4 - Go to the Program Files folder on your Local Disk C: (C:\Program Files) and delete folder
Memory Meter (if it exists)


5 - Go to Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs; remove "Memory Meter" and "MS T-Media Display"(or
"TV Media Display" or "TV T-Media Display")


6 - If you cannot find any of the mentioned files you can always run a Windows search. To do so
open your START menu and select Search -> for Files or Folders. Enter the full file name in the
search field and click the search button. In the Search Results locate the file you wish to delete,
right click on the file and select delete.

Recently your Flashlight search engine took over my browser.  I highly resent this as it took
considerable efforts to remove it, and my browser will no longer search from the address bar.  This
is to notify you that I'm turning this matter over to the FBI and other authorities in Utah as a
malicious hacking incident, since it was all done without my knowledge or permission.  I will
proceed with actions unless I hear from you within 24 hours.
