Hi

click on the link " Essential spyware removal steps and other hijackthis help forums" below and follow all the instructions (Step 1-5) and post the hijackthis log after reading (Instructions a/b/c) after downloading/running all the programs mentioned there alongwith the Online anti-virus scans .Update all the programs ie spybot http://www.safer-networking.org/en/howto/update.html ,and adaware http://www.colby-sawyer.edu/information/technology/updates/ad-awareusage.html
before logging into safe mode to run it .

Then run the programs listed here >> http://www.geocities.com/xsnor/aboutblank.htm also read HomeOldSP = about:blank

then repost your hijackthis log.

Which programs have you ran so far to clean off your system?

Let's see what we can do...

Go to Add/Remove programs and remove(uninstall), if present:

eSyndicate
WildTangent

anything with 'search' in the entry that you didn't install.
anything with 'toolbar' in the entry that you didn't install.

Be careful not to remove any personal or system software.

Run HiJackThis then:

1. Click " Config..."
2. Click " Misc Tools"
3. Click " Open Process manager"

Next, while holding down the CTRL key, locate ( if present) and click on ( highlight) each of the following:

C:\WINDOWS\ieuj.exe
C:\WINDOWS\mfctn32.exe
C:\windows\system32\Ydtq.exe

Now double-check and make sure that only those item(s) above are highlighted, then click " Kill process". Now, click " Refresh", check again, and repeat this step if any remain.

Now, let's run HiJackThis, then:

1. click " Config..."
2. click " Misc Tools"
3. click " Delete a file on reboot"
4. browse to, then double-click on each of the file(s) below, one at a time, if present:

C:\WINDOWS\ieuj.exe
C:\WINDOWS\mfctn32.exe
C:\windows\system32\Ydtq.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\javalj32.dll
C:\Program Files\eSyndicate\esyn.dll
C:\Program Files\WildTangent\Apps\CDA\cdaEngine0400.dll
C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\ja.exe

5. when prompted to " Reboot Now", after selecting each file, select " No"

It's ok if some of these files aren't found, just continue with the next one on the list.

Now, let's open a command prompt and unregister the dll(s) we're going to remove, by entering the following:

regsvr32 /u javalj32.dll
regsvr32 /u esyn.dll

It's ok, if these aren't found or 'error' out. If you want, just copy and paste the individual lines to a command prompt to save on the typing.

Run HiJackThis and click " Scan", then check(tick) the following, if present:

R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = about:blank
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyOverride = http://localhost;

R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {00A6FAF6-072E-44cf-8957-5838F569A31D} - (no file)

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {5F05AC39-D050-1263-DF9B-6E0DA39540F9} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\javalj32.dll
O2 - BHO: Band Class - {CC378B83-9577-44D0-B4F8-0DD965E176FC} - C:\Program Files\eSyndicate\esyn.dll

O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {ACB1E670-3217-45C4-A021-6B829A8A27CB} - (no file)
