    Hello dansfriend,

First off, multiple postings of the same log file is frowned upon. Often it will get you completely ignored. However, looking at your log file I feel compelled to inform you of this:

You have a VERY serious infection:

    \You have a dangerous rootkit
installed on your PC as evidenced by this/these line(s) in your HijackThis log:

    C:\WINDOWS\scvhost.exe

It looks to be a variation of this. It is also known as Backdoor.RBot

This is a very serious problem.

My best recommendation is to Disconnect from internet, format and re-install your Operating system and Applications.

We can likely clean the infected files off of the computer. However, we cannot be sure that we have gotten rid of all the damage caused by those files. This could result in loss of overall system security You would then be vulnerable to attack as soon as you connect to the Net again.

You are strongly advised to do the following immediately:

    1. Disconnect infected computer from the internet and from any networked computers until the computer can be cleaned.

    2. Call all of your banks, credit card companies, financial institutions and inform them that you may be a victim of identity theft and to put a watch on your accounts or change all your account numbers.

    3. From a clean computer, change *all* of your online passwords -- for ISP login, email, banks, financial accounts, PayPal, eBay, online companies, and any online forums or groups you belong to.

Do NOT change passwords or do any transactions while using the infected computer because the attacker will get the new passords and transaction information.

I also do recommend you read what CalamityJane has to say about this infection lock1.exe,
as this is a variant of that infection .

Please let us know what your plans are.

    George a.k.a. SpotCheckBilly
