proxy ???
My PC is slow, My CPU is working overtime, IM having problems accessing certain secure sites & My virus scanner isn't working. IM getting popups every now and then saying My (McAfee) virus scanner stopped suspicious scripts when i go on user accounts ect,so thats ok but i cant update anymore, and the application doesnt start up so i can do a scan. i talked to McAfee and they say nothings wrong but to reinstall if i need to yet it doesnt change anything. i pay a monthly subscription too so My account is ok.
My firewall reports alot of 1080 TCP port activity of which i know has something to do with proxy, as far as IM aware i dont have proxy configured but IM not too sure how "proxy" works.

- Then, I'd have to say, your log looks fine with those exceptions I mentioned.
Can you be a little more descriptive as to what problems you are having? For example, what do you mean when you say your computer is "working overtime"...what does this mean "when i go on user accounts"... what secure web sites are you having problem reaching, and what happens when you try, i.e. are you getting an error message?...
Meanwhile, perform an onlinescan here.
- Once you are at the Panda site click the Scan your PC button
- A new window will open...click the Check Now button
- Enter your Country
- Enter your State/Province
- Enter your e-mail address and click "send"
- Select either Home User or Company
- Click the big Scan Now button
- If it wants to install an ActiveX component allow it
- It will start downloading the files it requires for the scan (Note: It may take a couple of minutes)
- When download is complete, click on Local Disks to start the scan
- When the scan completes, if anything malicious is detected, click the See Report button, then Save Report and save it to a convenient location (Your Desktop is fine).
Post that log back here along with the answers to my questions above. Thanks!Reply

O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {BA52B914-B692-46c4-B683-905236F6F655} - (no file)
You can run HijackThis again and put a check in the box next to these:
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page =
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,First Home Page =
O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {BA52B914-B692-46c4-B683-905236F6F655} - (no file)
Close all windows except for HijackThis then click Fix Checked.
Reboot.
The program below:
E:\Program Files\PortReporter\portreporter.exe
Should be running from a system folder. Visit this site, and upload the file portreporter.exe for a free scan. Post back your results.
