upgrading to SE 7.6

Hi folks;

A customer is planning to perform MC upgrade to 5876 and they also will upgrade to SE 7.6.

They are currently using EMC SRDF/Automated Replication, the question is, after the upgrade of SE they will be able to keep using their SRDF/AR or do they need upgrade any other software or license?

Thank you.

    SRDF/AR doesn't require a specific license to function any more, as long as you are licensed for SRDF and Timefinder you should have no issues.  The licenses are retired. The features that required these licenses still exist, they

    just no longer require licenses.

    symlmf  list   -type emclm -sid

    Please ensure you have applied the electronic licenses the above command should help identify which are installed.  The SE install guide has a matrix of licenses so you can check this against your required features.

    Paul is correct.The SRDF/AR license is retired. The feature still exist, it just no longer require licenses.

    For the Symmetrix-based licenses supported with Symmetrix family arrays, see Solutions Enabler 7.6 Installation Guide , page 66 to 69.
