Corrupted FS, Input/Output error

Hi,

I have an old VNX5600 and it is out of support,

there are 2 corrupted files systems and refusing to be mounted,

when I run # nas_fsck -start FS_Name -monitor, it gives me the below error:

Error 5: Input/output error

the system doesn't show any HW error or warning.

anybody can help?

I found some logs indicate that there are some bad sectors,

But I don't know how to figure out where is the affected disk,

any idea?

Thanks DELL-Sam L for your reply, real good information,

but is ROBV available for customers or it should be done by support engineers only?

Ideally it is done by a support engineer with phone support, but if you don’t have a support contract then doing it yourself is the only option.
