Single or dedicated volume

I have a VNX 3x with a single pool configured and i have an IOPS consuming application server (Exchange 2013). The pool is configured with Raid1.

Now i'm wondering what's the best configuration in terms of disk volumes.

Every Exchange Server has many  databases (up to 16), what i'd like to know is if i can put all databases (per server) on a single volume or rather i should dedicate a volume to each database.

Since the VNX mechanicals (disks, controllers, etc.) are still the same i don't think i should notice any difference.

can you please help me?

thank you

Do you mean VNX operating system queues?

i would not put all DBs on one LUN, while there is one pool and all resources are shared there is concept of queues in the operating system. You can equate queues to lanes on a hightway, more lanes = more cars can drive in parallel.
