Dell customer care service request is useless
I ordered a Vostro by mistake and realized that the Graphics card was not what I wanted. Within a few hours, I checked the status and saw that it was still not processed. I tried to cancel but the only option available was to contact customer care. I promptly called the customer care who took all the details and created a service request for the cancellation. They said someone from customer care will call you back and that the order was on hold.
After one day no one from customer care called back. I called them again and once again they noted the service request for cancellation. The customer care person told me that they see the earlier service request and indicated they have instructions for sale and logistics to intercept and stop the dispatch of the sale. He said someone from logistics will call me before dispatching the computer. He said it was set to expedited shipping, however, I see that the order has only standard shipping. I checked the order status and it was still not processed.
Later, I received an email that the order was confirmed and they started processing it. The next day I receive an email that it is being shipped. It being a Saturday I am unable to reach customer care. They are sending it by overnight delivery for a Sunday delivery.
What is the point in creating Service requests which do nothing? Why is Dell playing these games instead of doing honest business? I am really disappointed and frustrated with the way Dell has handled this.

This is a user to user forum so we can't help . Post in Customer Care forum for instructions on how to handle the delivery or return. If you don't get a response, contact Dell by phone on Monday. Once a computer is in the system it usually gets shipped, delivered and has to be returned. It is very hard to cancel the shipping procedure once it is started.
