New laptop is slow

I bought Vostro 3500 the other day. The sticker says 3000 which I don’t get but not important. The laptop is so slow. I haven’t even used it other than setting it up. The internet takes so long to load a page. The updates take long to install. What do I do?

3000 is the series not the model number which is 3500. A little more information would help. Such as how much RAM do you have? Is it an HDD or SSD installed? If the Internet is slow, what is the speed of your Internet connection?

The Vostro 3500 comes with SSD and 8 GB of RAM, so I am surprised you consider it "slow".

Is it by chance installing Windows 10 updates?

It is very difficult to troubleshoot "slow".

Run troubleshooting tools on your computer. Please type Troubleshooting Control Panel onto [Cortana] search box, click "View All ", and then windows updates. Run the other tools as well.

    Hello,

Are you really serious of anyone try trying to help you with your problem. You really need to learn how to post to a forum. Based on the the info you provided no one can help you. Read some post form previous customers before you post oher wise it is a complete waste of time.

The more info you provide the better it is.

The Similar issue I am also facing bought new Vostro 3500 series , and it really feels like it working on its moods and burst mode ( do its work for long and all of sudden pushes work and then get stuck)

    Mine configuration:

    11th Generation Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-1115G4 Processor (6MB Cache, up to 4.1 GHz).

    1TB 5400 rpm 2.5" SATA Hard Drive

    8GB, 8Gx1, DDR4, 2666MHz.

Tried with all DELL support but not helping , thinking of adding additional RAM of 8 GB ..if still not working ..last option i have is to add SSD.

Surprisingly my older DELL Latitute laptop ( ~bought year2011) works much better with boot ups and rest. I see even if we get generations of CPU ( like 11th latest now) but not seeing any help with that.

Please suggest correct way to handle
