vplex power on-off logs

Hello,

The vplew and vnx went off due to a power failure and They were restarted successfully. I want to get the date and time when both were down and up again.

On vplex cli using command last reboot no output on this date. Is there a cmd or any log files on vplex to get those date and time?

    You should be able to get the uptime of the system before you log into vplexcli by issuing "uptime" on the management station.

    Hello Thom,

    uptime is showing only the following output below:

    10:21am  up 24 days  2:58,  1 user,  load average: 0.31, 0.47, 0.45

    is there any log file somewhere that shows when it was started/shutdown/ etc..

    Hi,

    On the management station (again before going into vplexcli) there should be /var/log/boot.msg.  That file contains all of the messages from the kernel at boot up.  I hope that helps.
