Invalid Connection File (vWorkspace Web Access)

We receive the following error on every first launch of a published desktop in vWorkspace Web Access

error.png

On every second try the error does not occur.

What could be the issue here? We're running vWorkspace 8.0 MR1

We came across this KB article: https://support.software.dell.com/vworkspace/kb/94234

We removed any special characters from the application name and display name, but that dit not help.

Any help would be appreciated!

Fix this issue using this post >>> http://en.community.dell.com/techcenter/virtualization/vworkspace/f/4827/t/19557970

The solution was to change following value from "true" to "false" in web.config file in the inetpub directory

    Path : C:\inetpub\wwwroot\ \web.config

    Hi,

I have seen this a few times recently but I am not sure what causes it.  From what I can see the pit file is trying to be launched with mstsc.exe rather than the vWorkspace connector (pntsc.exe) it feels like the association is getting messed up some how.  I am sure once I reinstalled the vWorkspace connector the problem went away, have you tried that?

    Regards

    Paul

    Hi Paul,

Thanks for the quick reply, I have tried this, however the same error occurs (still only on every first try).

We have seen this behaviour on all clients we've tested so far.
