Windows explorer stops to work frequentelly, do not respond...mozzilla firefox also...after some minutes of navegation "do not responds"...and now...finnaly, microsoft works stoped to work with the following message... le point d'entree de procedure CbFromWz@MWblStrings@@SAHPBG@Z est introuvable dans la bibliotheque de liens dynamiques WkWbl.dll. I dont know what to do...the only thing I want is to come back to windows XP...but I need to ask Dell to change it....I can not work with my brand new computer... is a Intel dual 2 1.83ghz 2gb ram...160 gb dh and it takes few minutes to start and to shut down processes...i cant believe...its slower than my old notebook...AMD 1.6ghz and 1gb ram...even to open any aplicatio it is slower...very desapointed... sorry for my english...i am brasilian...living in France...

vista is having a bad start i’ve had a few problem, i had to replace the fan on my graphics card and replace the nec dvd drive with a samsung dvd drive so i can burn stuff to dvd’s and my machine is only 3months old, i’m also sick if the hdd constantly being accessed, i’ve been using vista for 6week and have gone back to xp once or twice be keep given vista second chances but i think i’ve had enough and i’m thinking of going back to xp where everything works, which is kind of important to me

FWIW, I have a new E510 (Oct 06) that I upgraded to Vista Home Premium and everything is working great.  I had to download and install Vista drivers from the Video and SoundBlaster sound card and my Epson printer and the latest update for Nero Ultra V7 but that was all.

However, I keep a fairly "vanilla" and relatively clean PC - no IM's, P2P, etc.

Both of the drives in my E510, the stock NEC and the added Samsung will burn plus and minus DVD's with Nero Ultra 7.  I also have a USB connected Samsung and it too has no problem with either plus or minus DVD media.

The drives in my E510 are IDE drives.

    The NEC is HL-DT-ST DVD+-RW GSA-H21N

The two Samsung's are  TSST Corp CD/DVDW SH-S182M

not sure why but i can't burn dvd- using the latest nero but i've just tried roxio easy media creator 9 and that works so i'll have to say goodbye to nero which is a shame because i've used it for years, i sent all that logs and screen shots of the error i get to nero about a week and a half ago but haven't heard back from them yet

I just dumped Roxio Easy Media Creator 9 as it's not 100% vista compatible (I even get errors on the Label Creator Program).  EVERYTHING in Nero 7 Ultra works for me under Vista.
