You also need software as Windows does not have an app to do that and, of course, a DVD write drive (since you did not provide your PC specs).You can google forthe software, there are lots of free/shareware apps.Sorry, my original message wasn't all that clear.
I have windows XP record now , that was delivered with Dell.
I want to know how to copy a DVD using Record Now to backup some of my Data disks. These are legal copies.
I don't see a DVD to DVD on the "record now" screen but maybe I am missing it.

I don't use Record now. You might find it from the on line tutorials:There is one on copying a DVD to your hard drive. You should then be able to burn it to a DVD.Message Edited by JRosenfeld on 08-22-200601:24 PM

Only if it's a non commercial DVD. Commercial DVD's are copy protected.
(Discussing Illegal copying is prohibited by Dell forum rules).
