Dell data safe, F8 partitions
hello
A Dell tech removed the partitons except for the os in error as I was just formatting + reinstalling.
I stlll have the 2 cds I made when I got the XPS 8300 x64.
If I install these dvds, will it restored everything, including the parttions to where it was when I made the dvds?

Hello - I appreciate your kind welcome.
I spent some time with a Dell tech who said the dvds I created when I received it will restore the machine to the same same configuration as when Ireceived it.
I guess iI will have to wait and see when the the next majot event occurs. I do thank you for your time.

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
Using the disk you made will only install Windows and drivers. In order for the system to be like when you first got the system it would need the factory restore image.
