Dell Folder opens on startup

For about the last month, the Dell Folder (containing Help and Support Customization, SolutionCenter, and System Profiler) opens on startup.

I tried the solution on Ramesh's site, but the registry entries the site specifies are not present to fix.

Return to last folder is also unchecked.

What can I do to fix this problem?

    Also:  I tried rebooting in diagnostic mode (folder did not open) and then rebooting again in normal startup - folder reappeared.

    Hi Dan,

    The following is the entry you need to fix:

    "MemoryCardManager"="C:\\Program Files\\Dell Photo AIO Printer 944\\memcard.exe"

    Open Regedit.exe and navigate to the appropriate Run key. Then double-click MemoryCardManager and enclose the existing data within double-quotes. BTW, the article here is an example.

    Thanks Ramesh!

    That did the trick.  I had already found your linked page - but could not figure out which registry key to fix.  There is another one that is not in quotes but that does not seem to make a difference.
