dell vostro 200 windows xp setup errors

All of a sudden I started getting a blue screen that says "a problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage....some technical info errors Ox000000F4, 0x00000003, Ox8AB5EA40, Ox8AB5EBB4, Ox805D1650...beginning dump of physical memory."  Then a black screen that found no boot device.  I inserted the Windows XP reinstallation DVD and pressed Enter.  A blue screen appeared to Reinstall, Repair and Quit.  I've gone through each process many times, sometimes they randomly work.  The last time everything appeared to be reinstalled properly, but I had a looping "Status" pop-up box that kept wanting to read/browse for a drive...The pop up wouldn't cancel or close.  It acted like it was canceling but it wouldn't go away.  I minimized it and was able to continue working on my pc as normal, but when I came into work today I've had to go throught the same steps with inserting the Windows XP reinstallation DVD, but it's not working.  Any suggestions on how to fix this?

I suggest running the Dell diagnostics on that PC

Press F12 at the Dell logo screen at boot.

"Starting the Dell Diagnostics From Your Hard Drive"
