Dimension 8100 - BIOS Revision XP2 - Access Direct

Dell posted BIOS Revision XP2 for the Dell Dimension 8100 yesterday. The problem with the eSupport button remains (unsupported device in Device Manager), because Dell has yet to post the Access Direct software for Microsoft Windows XP that is mentioned in the release notes for BIOS Revisions XP1 and XP2. When will Dell release Access Direct for the Dell Dimension 8100? Did they forget to release it to the public or something? :-)

The unknown device does no harm. It can be removed by installing the old (not XP) version of the Dell Solution Center (and then uninstalling it, as it doesn't work in XP). But why bother?

The bottom line is, "e" button function is gone, so there is no value (if there ever was) in enabling the onboard sensor for it. The unknown device resides happily in my System Properties.

Well, it does not reside happily in my device driver.  In fact, it has taken over my internet connection and I can't use my Dell 8100 at all to go to the internet.
