I just did a clean install of Vista  home premium and all seemed to go well except the graphics are choppy and jumpy, in fact they kind of flash.... The x300 is a low end card with 128mb and only has a video rating of 2.0 which is the lowest for Aero.  It worked fine in XP.  Device manager shows no issues. 

I turned Aero off and still the graphics are flashing.... Downloaded the vista driver for the card and installed and it was also no help.  Still jumpy...  Have 2 gb of memory..... was not expecting this.

Any ideas on how to settle down the graphics without buying a new card?
