Can someone PLEASE help me figure out what’s wrong with my PC? I’m running Windows 98 on a Dimension XPS. Friday, I turned on my PC, when it was done starting up everything was gone!! All that I see is a blank green screen and my mouse arrow, there are no Icon's, no toolbar, nothing!! And nothing happens when I try clicking on the screen or typing any key combinations-(except ctrl-alt-del). I ran all the diagnostics on the resource CD and everything came back fine. So I called Microsoft and spent 3 hours on the phone with a girl in India, she finally had me reinstall the software that came with my PC using the product recovery CD, and the problem was still there. I’d really appreciate it if anyone here knows what’s wrong and can please help, Thank you!
