Fatal error in OE 0028:C027DB1B
Hi
I'm new to this forum, in my work i'm having some problems I'm getting this error: fatal error in OE 0028:C027DB1B in VxD VMM(06) + 00001B1B
Is there anyone who can help me, I have a lot of very important files and I'm very afraid of trying to re-install windows 98 (I'm afraid of loosing some files)
Is there some way to solvent this problem without re-installing windows 98
Thanks in advance
Thomas

That's exactly why you need to make it a practice to back up critical data. Particularly in the case of Windows 98, things can take a turn for the worse in a heartbeat. Save yourself a lot of grief by backing your data up regularly. In the mean time, try restoring your registry, using the instructions at the link(s) below. This assumes that you haven't waited a week since the problem occurred, and that there's a good version of the registry left to restore.
