Fatal error

Hi,
pls help me, I am using inspiron 8600 series
and my os is xp home edition(service pack 2)
from past week or so my system is suddenly
going in to shutdown mode...
and this is the message it is showing

STOP: c000021a(fatal system error)
the windows logon process system process
terminated unexpectedly with a status of
0xc0000005(0x00000000 0x00000000)
the system hs been shut down

    See if you can boot to Last Known Good Configuration (select from the menu that appears after you start tapping F8 during a reboot). If you are unable to, you may have to reinstall Windows XP. Information I gleaned from a search for that error indicates that a Repair Reinstallation of XP does not correct the error.

    hi thanx for the response, I was able to boot to
    windows by removing the battery and pressing the
    reset button of my laptop.. but again the same
    problem occured after some time.. I tried to
    follow that article, but I couldn`t use it...as
    I am not good at using cmd. Could u suggest me
    another alternative pls.. if I need to re-install
    my os.. how to format it.
