Find All Files
I'm not sure this is the right board to post to but I'll give it a try.
In my work I use WordPerfect all day. I have to find files through the day so use the Find function on the startup menu, type in the name, etc.
Before this week whenever my files were found they always had just a WordPerfect icon in front of them. Now I am getting them back with the Real Icon, Explorer Icon, QuickZip, etc. What is happening here? Does anyone know why I am now getting these other program icons when I search for files in WordPerfect?
Thanks for your help.
Jeanie

Something may have corrupted your icon associations. As long as the files are not altered it isn't a major problem. You can verify that the file association is not changed by finding one of the files in Winodws Explorer and double-clicking it to confirm that it opens in WordPerfect. You can restore the former icon to the files if you wish by opening Windows Explorer and going to Tools|Folder Options|File Types tab. Find the WordPerfect folder extension, click the "Edit" button and on the Edit File Type window click the Change Icon button and select the appropriate icon.
