How do I stop IE7 from adding unwanted Link?

When using XP there was way to stop IE from adding a folder named 'Link' under favorites.  Can't remember how I stopped as it was so log ago.

 

Just recently (after using Vista since it came out) IE7  insists on adding the useless 'Link' tab under favorites.  For some reason it thinks I want it.  Getting tired of deleting it daily.

    Apparently that works for XP as that is wht I did years ago.  But can't find this using Vista.

     

    I don't get the unwanted LINK on my laptop.  Just started showing up on my desktop after year-and-half using Vista.

     

    Any more ideas?

    Some say by navigating to the favorites folder in C:/Users/your account/Favorites

     

    and just delete it from inside the Favorites folder, should prevent it from coming back.

    Nothing works.  Just live with it I guess.

     

    Funny, though, it just started a month ago and still does not appear on my laptop.
