IE question

Hi,

I am using the Win XP and IE 6.0.  My IE keeps having a little problem, wich is it would close all the windows suddenly somtimes.  This usually happens when I switch windows, or maximize or minimize the browser.  I have got the most updated IE, and I tried to repair it by reisntall  my Windows already.  However, the problem still exits.  Please help.  Thanks.

are you getting an error message? i had that kind of problem before. I got an little window with technical details about the error. you can try this as well. click start then run then type sfc /scannow then ok. it may take about 10-15 minutes. if it doesn't work, you can try researching about the error message.

See if you can find the error message by doing this:

Go to your Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Event Viewer Check under the System Tab for any listed error messages. If any are found, repost them in a new thread or go to http://www.google.com and input the error message in the search box to see if solution may be listed. Kip

Do they all crash instantaniously?  Or do they crash one at a time?

Hi metrostar, First I should ask if all of your Microsoft critical updates are current. If not, you can update here:

    http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp

Once you are sure all security issues and bug fixes are current, try your computer, this might fix the issue.  If it does not, try a repair.  If you proceed with this, make sure you are comforable doing it, and read all instructions carefully.  If you do not feel comfortable, ask someone with more experience to work with you.  Good Luck.
