Please someone help!! This may seem strange but my ISP, DSL came out with a new Browser. I downloaded it which it went through the download perfect. My problem is: When I click on the file, edit, tools or even right-click on the page, the page closes completely. I can go to the task bar and re-open the page without signing back in. I did contact DSL about this, but no help. I have unistall the software and the DSL Yahoo Applications and installed it again. I re-booted, unplug the computer but still no luck. My question is, is there anything that would be causing or blocking this to download the way it should? I have Windows XP Professional Dell 2400. Would the settings on the Internet Options have anything to do with it. Please help me! Thanks
I'm not sure what version it is. But the old version works fine. The IE6 even works good when I install the software. There is an Browser update on the SBC Yahoo Browser which is the one I downloaded.
I have all the Updates for the IE6. The DSL is a good Internet Service. There has to be a solution to this issue. Would the Windows XP Professional have the kind of security to cause it?
I run the yahoo browser.I have sbc yahoo DSL....from the dsl home page click on settings/internet options.MAKE sure the program tab is used .PUT a check in the box at the bottom next to CHECK to see if INTERNET EXPLORER IS THE DEFAULT BROWSER.CLOSE that window.THAN GO back to settings an open browser options.ON the general tab make sure that the box is checked next to,ALWAYS CHECK TO SEE IF SBC YAHOO BROWSER IS THE DEFAULT BROWSER. THAT should at the very least get you started.lol chet
