OE Won't accept format changes

Hey all,

Something odd has begun happening with my Outlook Express.(v5.00.2800.1123).  It will not accept formatting changes except Bold, Italics and Underline..  Oh, also font color.  Any attempt to change font, i.e. arial to tahoma, does nothing.  Same with changing point size.  If I import from Word with Times New Roman, I get Pegasus 12 (my default font).

This just started recently and I haven't changed ANY OE settings from their opriginally selected settings.

In the grand scheme of things this is a pretty minor problem, but I like to change things up in my emails to make them interesting and fun for those I send them to.

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Thamks in advance.

George

    SpotCheckBilly,

See if a System Restore to a date when OE was behaving normally will correct the problem. If not, reinstall Outlook Express using the procedure here.

    Hey Denny,

Unles someone comes up with a miracle, looks like the re-install of OE is the answer.  My SR dates don't go back far enough.

    Thanks for the advice.

    Hey all,

Removing an Accessibility option restored OE to accepting font format changes.

Only took well, weeks to figure it out.  LOL
