sp1

hi

has enyone been able to download and install sp1 on a inspiron6400 with Windows Vista Home Premium

i seem to have to many issus with SigmaTel beeing the wrong version,i downloaded the latest v.6.10.0.5343.a02

missing windows update KB937954,never was automaticaly installed with Windows Update

and Windows automatic updates is not detecting sp1 update

The version you have is old. Why don't you read one of the half dozen threads on this subject that are already there.

Hi Dietmar

When serching for driver udates i was using my service tag number and that was the latest version offered for my inspiron SORRY

and yes thanks to reading half a dozen post i discovered that i could use R171788.exe witch was not offered to me with my service tag number for inspiron 6400

and Windows Update KB937954 is not needed i'm downloading SP1 as it is
