Unable to access hard drive properties
I'm using XP Media Center w/sp-2 and when I right click on my "C" drive and scroll down to the properties, I get an "explorer.exe" error and am unable to view the properties of the drive. I can the folders and browse the files in all of the folders I just cannot access the properties of the drive. Has anyone else ever seen this problem and can point me to a fix? Thanks in advance for any help with this.
Well, I have been troubleshooting this further today and I have found that if I disable the Norton Ghost Service I can now see the properties of both drives. I have send Symantec an e-mail detailing my issues and await their reply.
I'll let you know if they come up with a solution. (other than reload Norton Ghost which is what I figure they will say.)

Greetings; I'm not using XP Media Center but XP Home edition w/sp-2 and is experiencing the same problems you are having. Sometimes I get the following “The instruction at "0X02c74960" referenced memory at "0X02c74960". The memory could not be "read".
Click on ok to terminate the program
Click on cancel to debug the program
Or
“Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close” screen to tell Microsoft ext.
