Uninstall

Hi, How can I uninstal IE 7? If I go to control panel / uninstall it does not appear. I have a precision M65 and IE 7 came already installed. I want to uninstall it because it is not working properly and install it again. Thanks

    I googled this and read a lot of posts but most of them useless. However I found one quoting that you cannot uninstall IE7 as its an integral part of Vista. I'm sure someone one will find a way how to uninstall it.

    Have you opened ie7 and gone to tools, internet options, advanced, reset.
     
    Or download ie7 again and just choose xp

    barkingpumpkin, CheloChile wants to remove IE7. Restore Advanced Settings removes all temporary files, disables add ons and resets entered passwords that utility is used if your browser is just messed up and unusable.

    Try going into your hard drive, Program Files, Internet Explorer, right click the file and delete. I haven't tried this and don't know it if will work but I just thought this may be one way of doing it.
