Windows 11 22H2, erases Killer Wireless adapter?
Windows 11 22H2 has disabled my wireless adapter in my XPS 8930 desktop. I have tried 3 different times now to update it to Windows 11 22H2 after giving it a couple of weeks to see if the bugs get worked out, but to no avail. Is there a fix for this? I cannot even troubleshoot it because when I go to troubleshooting, there is no wireless adapter to troubleshoot. It's like it is completely gone. Please advise!

Try a clean Win 11 pro install which wipes all old os and data on hdd.

You likely just need to delete it and reboot for it to be re-detected.
In Control-Panel/Device-Manager, are you sure it's not hidden in "Network Adapters" or maybe you have an "Unknow Device" to delete?

Did you try installing the recent Killer WiFi driver update for XPS 8930?

Nope...I rebooted the machine and it is no longer there. Uninstalled the update and everything went back to working fine. Went into device manager and it was there and it said that the driver installed was the most current driver for Killer wireless. update to 22h2 again...same issue. No Killer wireless adapter. The Killer ethernet is also gone when I update to 22h2.

When Killer is MIA in Win 11 22H2, shut PC down normally through Windows. Remove power cord from rear of PC and press/hold power button for ~30 sec. Reconnect power cord to rear of PC and boot up. Is Killer back and working now?
When Killer is MIA, on Device Manager toolbar, click View>Show hidden. Do you see any "Unknown Device(s)" listed anywhere in Device Manager? Right-click and uninstall any Unknown(s) and then on toolbar click Action>Scan for new hardware. Does Killer appear and work again?

When I get a minute to install 22h2 again, I will try these fixes. Hopefully I can get to it later today!

Hi there - I had the same issue. If you go to device manager, killer wireless, update driver, browse for drivers on my computer, let me pick, and select the Qualcomm option, you should be up and running again

@ddoyle1000 - Any Unknown devices listed in Device Manager? Uninstall all of them...
Try this...
Right-click Killer Wireless in Device Manager and Uninstall. If it asks to remove the software, say "yes". Do NOT reboot PC. Just click Action>Scan for hardware changes on Device Manager toolbar.
See if Killer WiFi reappears in Device Manager and works now...
