ESIF(8.4.10501.6067) TYPE: ERROR MODULE: DPTF TIME 8707 ms
I get this event quite a lot in event viewer on my new Dell XPS 15 9570 (i9). I wondered whether there might a relationship to the high latency issue, and possibly the sound/keyboard issues?
From a bit of googling it appears to be related to the code that throttles the CPU at certain temperatures.
Any idea if there's anything I can do to fix it or is it some dodgy dell/intel code? Full Error:

Ditto, here. First occurred after installation of Dell Power Manager Service 3.2.0 on 3/30/2019, but given the newness of the laptop (Precision 7530, i9), there's insufficient data to even insinuate cause-effect relationship. MM
Yes, my son has the same issue with the DELL XPS 9570 i9.
It hangs on a regular basis and he has to restart to his laptop. I brought the laptop for him when he got his first job last year but perhaps should have gone for a cheaper and more reliable brand.
