XPS 13, touchpad issues
I am probably missing something .. I bought a brand new XPS 13 9305, received it today. Updated everything, I now have windows 11, latest drivers, firmware, BIOS, etc.
I simply cannot right click using the touch pad .. I know I can simulate a right click using a two finger tap, but the whole button on the bottom of the touchpad just generates left clicks .. Clicking the button on the right should generate a right-click, no?
Also, when windows is under heavy load the touch pad suffers from heavy lag or even completely blocks for a few seconds. I see other people have similar problems. Again, Windows update is completely up to date, Dell update is completely up to date ..
These problems combined basically make the laptop unusable. Pretty bad for a new high-end laptop.

Same issue with me, brand new laptop bought 10 days back, had raised a ticket immediately, but no updates from dell on the ticket. The right click doesn't work, the support team identified it as hardware issue. Unhappy with dell and its service.

I have the same issue. Oftentimes my brand new XPS trackpad gets stuck.

Update = After completing troubleshooting, a DELL-Cares agent setup a part replacement.
