XPS 15 (9500) Trackpad Issues

Hi,

Does anyone knows if Dell has already acknowledge the general issues with Trackpads?

I am returning mine now and because of this (even though I was told there was no issue known) but would actually like to know once this problem is fixed, and potential consider buying one later.

    Thanks for sharing that.

    Guess was just unlucky as I got mine shipped in June but still came with the problem still. Do you know when this was announced?

    I have heard of trackpad issues during product reviews as well.  However, my 9500 XPS received several days ago is fine with no trackpad issues.

    Hi everyone,

     

    For what matters, having had an issue with the first unit, I proceeded with the return and ordered a second new unit (end June).

     

    To my surprise, not only I get a unit with same issues but also it comes with some marks looking like it has already been used.

     

    Waiting for some feedback now but for the ones reading this, I would just recommend you stay away from Dell XPS 15.
